Founded in 2009 in Barcelona by two entrepreneurs with a long journey in the fashion world, Noelia Peinado and Marc Sorensen, Meisie reflects their Scandinavian influence and love for the ethnic, romantic, and bohemian styles.

The two founders are very involved in the materials Meisie utilises as seen in the collections themselves; there is always a high percentage of garments made with viscose fabrics. Viscose is a material extracted from the cellulose by chemical reaction. It is also considered a second-skin fabric due to its high comfortability and good drape qualities.
